[11-25-2025] 75-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured After Golf Cart and Pickup Collide on San Vicente Road Near San Vicente ResortA 75-year-old Ramona man suffered major injuries after the golf cart he was driving collided head-on with a pickup truck on San Vicente Road east of Camino Arriba near the San Vicente Resort golf course in San Diego County, on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:05 a.m. when the man was driving a 2006 Club Car golf cart westbound in the eastbound lane of San Vicente Road. 

At the same time, a 30-year-old El Cajon man driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra was traveling eastbound and approached the golf cart’s path. CHP said the golf cart and the Toyota collided head-on for reasons still under investigation. The golf cart driver was ejected onto the roadway and transported to Palomar Hospital with major injuries. The Toyota driver was not injured. CHP said alcohol and drugs were not factors.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
