A SigAlert was issued after a multi-vehicle collision closed all lanes of the transition road from the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
According to reports, the closure was expected to last approximately two hours. Traffic was diverted onto the 5 Freeway while crews responded to the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area or seek alternate routes during the closure.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
