A 5-year-old boy and two adults were injured after a crash near Marconi Avenue and Fulton Avenue in Sacramento County on Sunday afternoon, November 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened as a woman driving an SUV attempted to turn onto southbound Fulton Avenue from a parking lot on the east side of the roadway.
Authorities said vehicles in the No. 2 lane stopped to allow the turn, but a sedan traveling about 40 miles per hour in the No. 1 lane struck the driver’s side of the SUV. Officials began releasing information around 1:45 p.m.
The woman and a 5-year-old boy, seated in the rear of the sedan, sustained moderate injuries and were taken to a hospital. Other parties reported pain, and a total of three patients were transported, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
CHP stated that none of the occupants involved were wearing seatbelts. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
