[11-17-2025] Woman Killed in Crash on Road 100 and Avenue 264 South of VisaliaA woman was killed in a crash just south of Visalia late Monday evening, November 17, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers arrived just after 11:25 p.m. to a crash involving a white BMW 328 and a blue Jeep Compass at Road 100 and Avenue 264. According to investigators, the BMW was traveling south on Road 100 while the Jeep was heading north toward the intersection. For reasons still under investigation, the BMW veered left and struck the left front side of the Jeep.

According to CHP, the Jeep spun onto the east dirt shoulder of Road 100 south of Avenue 264, while the BMW stopped in the southbound lane. The Jeep’s driver was pinned inside the vehicle, with her child safely secured in a car seat in the back. She was extricated from the wreckage and taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The BMW driver got out of the vehicle as it caught fire and was taken to a local hospital with major leg injuries. The child in the Jeep was also transported to the hospital, but was not hurt.

The names of those involved have not been released, and authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
