[11-15-2025] Young Boy Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle on Camelback Drive in VictorvilleA young boy was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Victorville on Saturday night, November 15, 2025.

The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. in the 16200 block of Camelback Drive, between Silver Lake Place and Tam-O-Shanter Drive. 

Preliminary reports indicated that a red Toyota Camry traveling westbound was unable to stop in time and struck the child. The boy had reportedly gone outside from a nearby family gathering and was playing in the road when he was hit.

A witness said the boy was sitting up and communicating with paramedics as he was transported by ambulance for further medical evaluation. The driver of the Camry stopped immediately and remained on scene, cooperating with authorities. Witnesses reported that the driver appeared visibly shaken. After speaking with deputies, the driver was allowed to leave the scene.

The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation, and no further information was immediately available.
