A garbage truck overturned, leaving two people with minor injuries on Highway 99 in Fresno on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10 a.m. as the driver was attempting to exit the highway onto the Ashlan Avenue off-ramp.
CHP said the driver lost control and collided with the embankment on the right side, causing the truck to overturn onto its side.
The driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities reminded motorists to slow down and drive cautiously, especially on wet roads.
