Police responded to a two-vehicle crash near the 8100 block of Jamacha Road near Spring Valley, San Diego County, on Saturday night, October 18, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:00 p.m., and first responders had to free at least two people trapped in one of the vehicles. Both vehicles sustained major damage.
A portion of Jamacha Road was closed in both directions, causing traffic delays. As of 11 p.m., the road was still showing a closure near Darby Street, with slow-moving traffic reported on one side.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
