A 34-year-old man, Troy U. of Paradise, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Paradise, Butte County, on Saturday evening, October 4, 2025.
According to the Paradise Police Department, the crash occurred between 7:40 p.m. and 7:46 p.m. at the intersection of Clark Road and Pearson Road.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The vehicle fled the scene and has not yet been located.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
