A 14-year-old student biking to Wells Middle School in Dublin was injured in a collision with a vehicle at Amador Valley Boulevard and Emerald Avenue in Alameda County, on Monday morning, September 22, 2025.
According to Dublin Police Services, the student was wearing a helmet and sustained very minor injuries. He received treatment on-scene and was released to his parent. Police determined the incident was non-criminal and confirmed that alcohol or drugs were not factors.
Wells Middle School Principal Monica MacDonald reminded families that this incident highlights the importance of safety when traveling to and from campus. The student returned to school the following day. Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
