A woman in her 40s sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run at Victor Road and Cherokee Lane in Lodi on Friday evening, September 12, 2025.
According to the Lodi Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. while the woman was crossing the street.
The driver fled the scene. The woman was transported to a local hospital in serious condition, though her current status is unknown.
The police department’s major accident investigation team is handling the case, and the make and model of the vehicle involved have not been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
