A student was injured and transported to Valley Children’s Hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Stadium Road near Alpha Elementary School in Madera on Tuesday morning, September 16, 2025.
According to police, officers responded to the scene in the morning and found the student had been struck and injured. Madera Unified officials confirmed the student attends Madera South High School. The extent of the student’s injuries is unknown.
Authorities reminded drivers to exercise caution in school zones and advised parents to ensure children use crosswalks and avoid distractions while walking.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
