A female passenger was killed after a Ford Mustang crashed into a fence on Avenue 408 west of Road 124 near Cutler in Tulare County early Monday morning, September 1, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 12:30 a.m.
Officers reported that the Mustang struck a fence, metal posts, and a sign. The female passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and two other passengers were not injured. Authorities have not yet indicated whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
