![[08-22-2025] Multiple Injured, One Extricated in Three-Vehicle Crash on State Route 126 Near Interstate 5](https://ak1.to//RRvs.webp)
Multiple people were injured and one driver was extricated following a three-vehicle collision on State Route 126 eastbound, just west of Interstate 5 in Los Angeles County, on Friday afternoon, August 22, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office, officers arrived to find a red Cadillac, a silver Toyota, and a white Dodge blocking multiple lanes.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel extricated one driver who was trapped in a vehicle. Several others were transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with injuries ranging from minor complaints of pain to major injuries.
The driver of the white Dodge was taken to the hospital and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury. After being cleared for release, the man was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The CHP confirmed that the incident remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
