One person was killed, and another sustained injuries after a two-vehicle crash involving a Porsche SUV and a Ford in Azusa on Wednesday morning, December 25, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. on South Azusa Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway.
One of the vehicles struck a guardrail, veered off the freeway, and landed in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 219 S. Azusa Avenue.
Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene at 5:07 a.m. One person was transported to a local hospital, while another individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
