A 24-year-old man from Lodi was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 99 near Armstrong Road in San Joaquin County late Sunday night, December 22, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. when the man, who was in the southbound lanes of Highway 99, was hit by a minivan.
Emergency responders arriving at the scene observed “obvious signs of death” and called for the coroner to respond.
