A vehicle struck a curb, a metal sign, and a fire hydrant in the 1200 block of Treat Boulevard in Walnut Creek on Monday morning, December 17, 2025.
The crash occurred in front of Treat Towers, where the vehicle came to rest after hitting multiple fixed objects.
The extent of injuries to the driver and a passenger was not immediately known. Traffic slowed in the area as motorists passed the scene.
Treat Boulevard was temporarily closed while crews worked to clear debris and shut off the damaged fire hydrant.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
