[12-13-2024] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed After Fiery Two-Vehicle Collision on Southbound 15 Freeway

[12-13-2024] One Person Killed After Fiery Two-Vehicle Collision on Southbound 15 FreewayOne person was killed after a fiery two-vehicle crash on the southbound 15 Freeway in Hesperia late Friday night, December 13, 2024.

According to authorities, the collision occurred around 11:24 p.m. between Main Street and Joshua Road. 

A sedan caught fire after sustaining significant front-end damage. Firefighters from San Bernardino County and Victorville Fire Department arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames shortly before midnight.

Initial reports indicate that a semi-truck and another sedan were also involved in the crash. The California Highway Patrol temporarily shut down all southbound lanes to manage the scene. 

The sole occupant of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is pending coroner identification and notification of next of kin.

The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances leading to this fatal collision.
