[12-12-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Three Killed After Three-Vehicle Crash at Terra Bella Street and Woodman Avenue in Panorama City

Three people were killed after a speeding minivan ran a red light and caused a three-vehicle collision at Terra Bella Street and Woodman Avenue in Panorama City, Los Angeles, on Friday night, December 12, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash was reported at approximately 9:37 p.m. when a westbound gray Plymouth minivan on Terra Bella Street failed to stop at a red light and struck a blue Ford Mustang and a tan Honda Civic that were both traveling southbound on Woodman Avenue. 

Investigators said the minivan was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the collision and was believed to be fleeing the scene of an unrelated crash prior to the impact. Police also reported that the driver of the Honda Civic exited the vehicle after the collision and fled the scene without stopping to identify themselves or render aid.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the driver of the minivan, the driver of the Ford Mustang, and a passenger inside the Mustang dead at the scene. Authorities identified the deceased as a 30-year-old man in the minivan and a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in the Mustang. A 35-year-old man was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Three other individuals involved in the crash declined medical treatment or transport.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
