A person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway in Bellflower on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. just west of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
Responding officers located the involved motorcycle and SUV, and one individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The carpool and far left lane were closed for the emergency response and investigation, causing traffic to back up to the Long Beach (710) Freeway. A SigAlert was issued as crews worked at the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
