Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a multi-vehicle hit-and-run crash near West Wabash Avenue and Spring Street in Eureka on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
According to the Eureka Police Department, officers arrived to find three vehicles involved. One vehicle had moderate front-end damage, another had minor damage, and a motorcycle sustained major damage. Police said a witness saw one vehicle strike another and leave the scene, providing investigators with a description and partial license plate. Officers documented evidence through photographs and body-worn cameras.
EPD said the unidentified driver fled on foot before officers arrived. Investigators determined that the crash was caused by a failure to yield during a left turn, and the primary impact occurred within the intersection.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
