A 62-year-old motorcyclist, Michael D. of Jamestown, sustained major injuries in a collision with a sedan in Sonora on Monday afternoon, December 9, 2024.
According to the Sonora Police Department, the crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. on West Stockton Street near Ponderosa Way/
The sedan, driven by 26-year-old Rhinemarc D. of Sonora, reportedly either T-boned or struck the rear of the motorcycle.
The impact ejected the rider from his motorcycle. He was airlifted to a Valley Trauma Center for treatment of major injuries. No other injuries were reported in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the SPD.
