A person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig in San Diego early Sunday morning, December 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:50 a.m. on northbound State Route 805 south of University Avenue.
A SigAlert was issued at 3:37 a.m., closing the transition road from northbound SR-805 to northbound SR-15 for the investigation and cleanup.
No additional details about the vehicles involved or the victim have been released.
