A 59-year-old man was arrested for felony driving under the influence with an 8-year-old child in his vehicle after a crash northeast of Watsonville on Saturday evening, December 7, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on State Highway 152 near Beverly Drive.
The man’s Nissan pickup truck struck another vehicle, fences, and a residence. While one passenger in the truck was injured, the 8-year-old child was unharmed.
The driver was taken into custody, and the incident is under investigation.
