![[12-05-2025] Woman Suffers Traumatic Injuries After Hit-and-Run at 16th Street and Albion Street in San Francisco](https://ak1.to//^PRz.webp)
A 32-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident near 16th Street and Albion Street in the Mission District in San Francisco on Friday night, December 5, 2025.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. as the woman was walking with her partner to meet up with their friends. Police said a gray Mercedes traveling eastbound on 16th Street struck her as she crossed Albion Street. The impact caused her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness. The driver fled the scene and has not been located.
The victim sustained a traumatic brain injury as well as fractures to her knee and ankle. She was transported to a hospital for treatment and remains hospitalized.
No arrests have been made.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
