One person was killed, and several others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 39 near East Fork Road in Azusa on Thursday evening, December 5, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. CHP officers arrived at the scene to find a gray Honda Accord and a black SUV blocking several lanes of the state route.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, and multiple people were transported to local hospitals with injuries of unknown severity, according to Officer Sean Lough.
