A woman was hospitalized with moderate injuries following a collision with a crane in Rolinda, Fresno County, on Tuesday morning, December 3, 2024.
The crash occurred near Dickenson Avenue and Kearney Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a Kia southbound on Dickenson Avenue at a high rate of speed.
Limited visibility due to dense fog and excessive speed prevented the driver from seeing or stopping at a stop sign in time.
Her vehicle collided with a crane that had just re-entered the road after being parked on the side.
Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident and have not released additional details.
