Two individuals were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision on Fassler Avenue in Pacifica on Monday morning, December 2, 2024.
According to the Pacifica Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:00 a.m. between Driftwood Circle and Ohlone Drive.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a Ford sedan traveling eastbound on Fassler Avenue drifted into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a Dodge truck. The Dodge was then rear-ended by a Toyota Prius.
The driver of the Ford stated that their vision was obstructed by the rising sun.
Two of the drivers involved were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Authorities confirmed that no signs of intoxication were observed in any of the drivers.
The investigation is ongoing.
