![[11-30-2025] Motorcyclist Killed After Crash with Volkswagen on Highway 152 West of Lower Cottonwood](https://ak1.to//cm.webp)
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider was killed after colliding with a Volkswagen Tiguan on Highway 152 west of Lower Cottonwood in Merced County on Sunday afternoon, November 30, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded around 1:35 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash involving a black 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan.
Both vehicles were traveling westbound on Highway 152, with the Volkswagen ahead of the motorcyclist. For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle collided with the Volkswagen and then struck a guardrail, ejecting the rider. CHP said the motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries.
No additional information was immediately released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
