A rollover crash killed one man and injured two others in Fresno early Saturday morning, November 30, 2024.
The Fresno Police Department responded to reports of a rollover collision at the intersection of North and Elm Avenues around 2:30 a.m.
According to authorities, a 19-year-old man was driving west on North Avenue when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered into the curb and crashed into a bus stop.
The impact caused the car to overturn and catch fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while two passengers, believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries.
It is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
