A woman was struck and killed by a suspected DUI driver near a South Natomas intersection in Sacramento on Friday evening, November 29, 2024.
Sacramento police officers responded to the crash just before 8:00 p.m. near Northgate Boulevard and Turnstone Drive.
Emergency responders, including the Sacramento Fire Department, attempted to provide life-saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the driver as a 50-year-old man who was determined to be driving under the influence. He was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until her family has been notified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
