A driver fled after a crash involving three vehicles ended in a fiery explosion in Reseda, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, November 26, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Sherman Way.
Three vehicles collided, and one of them burst into flames. Witnesses reported hearing a loud impact before seeing one of the cars fully engulfed.
Police said the driver of the burning vehicle ran from the location, leaving behind two intoxicated passengers who were able to exit before the fire spread. Officers are reviewing nearby cameras in an effort to identify the driver and determine whether DUI was a factor.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
