A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on South H Street and Wilson Road in South Bakersfield on Tuesday night, November 25, 2025.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the collision occurred just before 10:30 p.m. when the man was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk and was struck by a male driver.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Police stated that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers. Speed and impairment were believed to be contributing factors.
The investigation is ongoing.
