A collision involving two tractor-trailer trucks shut down a portion of Highway 18 near Fairlane Road in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino County, on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2025.
The incident was reported at approximately 5:20 p.m. just north of Fairlane Road, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
The crash involved a cement mixer and a double loader. One of the trucks overturned, and the rear axle of the other blocked the northbound lane, resulting in a complete traffic stoppage.
CHP logs indicated that both drivers appeared to be okay, though at least one possible injury was noted. A leaking unknown liquid created concerns about a potential fire hazard.
The crash remains under investigation by the Victorville CHP Station, and no additional details have been released.
