A pedestrian was killed in a crash on State Route 52 near Clairemont, San Diego, on Monday afternoon, November 18, 2024.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 2:25 p.m., after a reporting party stated that a man was found “passed out” in front of his white truck on the right side of the highway near Regents Road.
Officer Mark Latulippe confirmed that investigators are treating the incident as a pedestrian fatality, though the cause of death has not been determined at this time.
