A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the San Fernando area on Tuesday morning, November 5, 2024.
The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on the Glenoaks Boulevard off-ramp from the westbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the man died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. His identity has not yet been released.
The off-ramp was closed while authorities conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
