A rollover crash slowed southbound traffic on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach on Friday morning, October 31, 2025.
The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11:47 a.m. near the Spyglass Drive exit in Shell Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver SUV flipped onto its roof, blocking the right lane of the highway, and debris scattered across the roadway.
Smoke was seen rising from the vehicle shortly after the crash. Two occupants were reported to have exited the car, and firefighters and an ambulance arrived within 15 minutes to treat them at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
