Two people were killed in a car crash in Fresno County on Tuesday night, October 28, 2025.
According to investigators, the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. A witness reported seeing a Toyota Camry traveling at a high speed eastbound on Belmont Avenue before it ran a stop sign at the intersection of Belmont and Brawley.
The car made an unsafe right turn, sideswiped a power pole, and crashed through trees, bushes, and a fence before striking a parked car at a truck yard.
The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A girl in the back seat was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities noted that the girl was not wearing a seatbelt. A man in the front seat was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and it is unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors.
