One person was killed and another was injured following a crash on State Route 905 in Otay Mesa, San Diego, on Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department reported that the collision occurred shortly after 2:20 p.m., with emergency crews arriving around 15 minutes later.
At least one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
All westbound lanes of SR-905 at Britannia Boulevard were closed, and traffic was being redirected between Britannia and La Media Road, according to Caltrans San Diego.
