A man in his 40s was killed in a head-on collision on Sierra Highway west of Avenue E in the Antelope Valley, Los Angeles County, early Wednesday morning, October 19, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 12:08 a.m. One of the vehicles caught fire and was blocking two lanes. The collision prompted a closure of Sierra Highway between Avenues E and F as authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision.
