A 62-year-old man from Ventura County was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, early Sunday morning, October 19, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Van Nuys Boulevard south of Huston Street.
A black Tesla Model Y traveling southbound struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway. The driver did not stop and continued southbound on Van Nuys Boulevard.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing.
