A 30-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 4:33 a.m. on the transition road from the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway.
Responding officers found the victim near the freeway divider. A white Lexus RX 350 struck the pedestrian, who was reported walking across lanes. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
The victim, identified by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Kathryn G., was pronounced dead at the scene. Her city of residence was not available.
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision.
