A motorcyclist in his early 20s was killed after being ejected from his vehicle and struck by two hit-and-run drivers in Porter Ranch, San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, on Thursday night, October 17, 2024.
The crash occurred around 9:50 p.m. as the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Devonshire Avenue near the intersection with Louise Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon reaching Louise Avenue, the motorcyclist ran a red light and collided with a northbound vehicle, causing him to be ejected onto Devonshire Street.
Moments later, the motorcyclist was struck by two vehicles—a white SUV and a white sedan—whose drivers did not stop to assist or identify themselves. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the apprehension of the drivers involved. The investigation is ongoing.
