A multi-vehicle crash involving at least five vehicles blocked lanes in Sacramento on Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, officers were dispatched around 5:48 a.m. on northbound Highway 99 just north of Fruitridge Road and south of 12th Avenue.
The cause of the crash and any potential injuries have not been confirmed. Traffic cameras showed significant backups in the area, and motorists were advised to expect delays as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
