![[10-09-2024] Motorcycle Rider Injured After Collision With Vehicle on Beaumont Avenue](https://ak1.to//vG3M.webp)
A motorcycle and vehicle collided in Beaumont, briefly stalling traffic and resulting in minor injuries on Wednesday morning, October 9, 2024.
The crash occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m., involving a 2011 Roadster motorcycle and a Toyota Rav4 on the north side of Beaumont Avenue, just south of California Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Jonathan Torres.
The motorcyclist, a 64-year-old Hemet man, sustained minor shoulder injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Debris from the collision was scattered across traffic lanes, requiring Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department to respond. A tow truck was initially dispatched but later canceled.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were considered factors in the incident, and traffic resumed through the area by 9:30 a.m.
The CHP is continuing its investigation.
