[10-08-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Crash in San Jose

One person was killed, and two others suffered major injuries after a car crashed into a concrete wall in North San Jose early Thursday morning, October 8, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the crash occurred at around 3:30 a.m. near Zanker Road and Daggett Drive.

Police said the vehicle struck a concrete wall in the center median of Zanker Road.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not immediately release the driver’s identity or additional personal information.

Two passengers were transported to a hospital with major injuries. Police later confirmed that both passengers had stabilized.
