A two-vehicle collision temporarily closed Highway 4 near Stockton Road west of Angels Camp in Calaveras County on Monday morning, October 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. Emergency responders, including an ambulance and a tow truck, were dispatched to the scene. The cause of the crash and the extent of any injuries have not been confirmed.
Highway 4 was reopened to traffic by 9:36 a.m. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
