A Point Reyes Station woman faces multiple charges after a suspected DUI crash that left three children injured in Marin County on Sunday night, October 6, 2024.
The crash was reported at approximately 11:05 p.m. near Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Drakes View Drive.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Darrel Horner, the suspect, Maria C., 49, was driving a Toyota Sequoia northbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard when she veered off the road and struck a pole.
Three children in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, child endangerment, and driving without a license. She was booked into Marin County Jail, with bail set at $50,000.
The incident remains under investigation.
