![[10-05-2025] Two Hit-and-Run Drivers Sought After Striking Pedestrian at Central Avenue and 14th Place in Downtown LA](https://ak1.to//PauXc.webp)
Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying two drivers involved in hit-and-run collisions that left a pedestrian injured in downtown Los Angeles on October 5, 2025.
According to police, the incidents occurred around 5:45 a.m. when a woman was crossing the street at Central Avenue and 14th Place.
First, she was struck by a dark-colored SUV, possibly a 2018 to 2025 Ford Explorer. The driver did not stop after throwing the victim to the ground. Moments later, a blue SUV, possibly an older Honda CR-V, ran over the woman while she was lying on the ground. The second driver also fled without stopping to help.
The woman was taken to a hospital by LA Fire Department paramedics and is not suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Community members who provide information leading to the arrests and convictions of the drivers may be eligible for a reward of up to $25,000.
