One person was killed, and two others sustained serious injuries after a head-on crash in San Joaquin County on Saturday morning, October 5, 2024.
The Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District reported the incident occurred at approximately 10:24 a.m. on Highway 26 near Shelly Road outside Linden.
The collision involved two vehicles, leading to significant injuries for the other two individuals involved, in addition to the fatality.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Further details regarding the circumstances of the collision have not yet been released.
