A collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer caused traffic delays on northbound Interstate 15 just south of La Mesa Road in Victorville on Saturday evening, October 4, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the crash was reported around 6:47 p.m. after a Toyota Tundra struck the rear of a semi-trailer that had reportedly broken down in the traffic lanes. The semi was initially stopped in the fast lane before being moved toward the slow lane.
Emergency personnel confirmed that no injuries were reported. Traffic along the northbound lanes was temporarily backed up, and lanes were reopened by approximately 7:15 p.m. Traffic backups extended to Main Street.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP Victorville Station.
